After weeks of speculation it was announced this morning that Turkish footballs top flight competition the Sportoto Süper Lig will be coming to PES 2019 and it will be fully licensed. For the most part Pro Evolution Soccer has featured a number of Turkish sides each year, be it one two or three teams but now the full league which consists of eighteen teams will be added. This means that the giants of Turkish football and 21 times Süper Lig champions Galatasaray will not only be joined by rivals Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş but other clubs like Sivasspor, Trabzonspor and Bursaspor, to name a few, will also be included. Not only will the Süper Lig be fully licensed but it may also come with a few of turkish footballs iconic stadia. The Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium has already been confirmed but hopefully such stadia as the Türk Telekom Stadium will be added to. Along with the Süper Lig comes the news that AC Milan Turkish national midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu will be a PES 2019 ambassador and will grace a cover dedicated to Turkish football fans alongside Phil Coutinho on what will be a jaw dropping eighth yes eighth version of PES 2019. With this news its pretty evident that Konami are trying to add more depth to the game in terms of leagues and teams added and the additions may not end here so stay posted.
