And so it begins! A roller coaster summer of news and information regarding Konamis' 2018 instalment of Pro Evolution Soccer lies ahead and to get the ball rolling Konami today released the first trailer in the form of a teaser. The trailer features PES premium partners FC Barcelona and what looked like Paris Saint Germain. We assume the footage was taken from in game action and it looks stunning. Player builds look ultra realistic and we see that Barca forward Neymar isn't the only player to have his trademark tattoos added as Luis Suarez can be seen sporting some ink too. Graphically it looks like things have been ramped up a notch, visuals, lighting, the grass all look crisp.
A full trailer is pencilled in for release on the 13th of June.
Along with the teaser comes a plethora of new information regarding some of what we can expect in this years game. Game play has been "fine tuned" giving the user even more control over the ball in terms of dribbling, ball control and passing etc. The new Real Touch+ enables players to control the ball with various body parts adding a touch of unpredictability to play. The user interface has had a makeover as well as real player images in game menu etc, nice! PES League mode will feature from the start this year so get practising. Master League has been improved with pre season tournaments, an improved transfer system, pre match interviews and even see the teams inside the dressing rooms, ML mode presentation has also been given a makeover. PC users will be glad to hear that their version will be on par with next gen consoles. You can check out the trailer below along with some screenshots and pre order bonus details. PES 2018 is scheduled for release on September 14th.
